Why is "unreasonable rich" a subset of the "unreasonable majorities?" I don't know anywhere where rich people are a "majority" in class presence. Unless "majority" is just a stand-in for "privileged," which is kind of what it seems like we mean here.

I browse Best of Redditor Updates to read insane drama and some of the best posts are the ones with tangible proof (news articles, real legal documents, etc) like the revenge post where OP went nuclear on their late father's abusive carer *and provided articles and mugshots*. My other favorite are low-stakes petty drama like the "i am a far pettier, deranged woman" OP who was miffed by the local sandwich shop worker doing the least efficient sandwich prep known to man. Written entertainingly and with 0 stakes and no weird bigoted undertones. Shining stars amongst a wasteland of bait shit

I dream of the day i can play the PBS kids games Dream On based on that Buster spinoff of Arthur, and Feed Gnochi based on Curious George. Thankfully I looked it up before Flash was discontinued, and both were listed as saved with Flashpoint. I was able to play Dream On on some different site from some like random school that essentially reposted it before Flash was discontinued, and I was so glad to play it again. Hopefully I’m right in what I saw some years ago and both it and Feed Gnochi were preserved. The thing is now though, I only have a Mac on its last legs with full storage and an outdated OS… and the Mac version is buggy anyway. When i get a windows laptop or PC in the future downloading flashpoint will one of the first things I do. I’ll forever remember the way the sentient burger guy in Dream On says “You made… Bubble tea!!”

I remember a post on reddit where a woman was complaining about her ex and his unwillingness to allow her to see their kid. I wish I could find it again but it was essentially trying to prove that the inverse of the woman not letting the dad see the kid, with her proving she is an example of this. Well she wasn't wrong. But she failed to mention she was on meth, which was found out because she would post regularly on her account about it.

I met a guy through reddit a few years ago and he used alot of those subreddits to reframe abuse he was giving me into me not being a good enough friend or otherwise bad to him to the applase and care of those subreddits. We arent friends anymore and i dont like that site anymore. My point im going for is even when something has some truth in it it can be reframed or details can be omitted or trashed.

He also never washed plates and kept them all in his room meaning we would eventually have no plates. The landlord hated him.

They wanted me to spot them rent because they spent part of their rent on Fate GO and didn't have enough to cover their entire share. I was furious. In general though, I like to 'believe' every story. calling it out as fake ruins the fun for me. People who call BS on every story are just kind of kill joys to me. It's more fun to treat them all seriously, but you also have to retain a certain amount of distance. I also don't think these stories are indicative of real human interactions. They're just the extremes, like Florida Man stories. The only reason Florida Man is such a meme is because they're allowed to report or anything down there.

In the intro you say that it used to be a cesspool and now it's mainstream. The opposite is true. Every mainstream platform is a cesspool, anyone who's been on reddit since the 00's knows that it used to be amazing, it just had corners to be avoided.
